Outdoor Ringgold is holding its inaugural Freedom 5K color run on Saturday, July 2nd, 2016 at 8:15 a.m. at Ringgold High School.  This is a red, white, and blue color run for the whole family.  The purpose of this race is to encourage the community to get outdoors, explore our local nature trail, and have fun while celebrating our nation’s Independence Day.

To make the run especially meaningful, each year we will choose an Honorary Veteran.  This veteran will be from our community and will be honored at the race with the race day shirts bearing his or her name.

The 2016 Freedom Fun Run Honorary Veteran is:

Kristoffer Tinney, USMC

Operation Iraqi Freedom

Ringgold High School Class of 1993
