Administrative Assistant

(Full Time; Benefits)
The City of Ringgold is now accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant.
This is a full-time position with benefits after the ninety (90) day probation 
Duties include answering the phone, taking payments, typing, filing, heavy 
organizational skills, attendance at public meetings to take notes, booking city
facilities for the public and other forms of communication. Associates degree in
administration or a related field preferred or should possess strong
administrative background.

Depot Custodian
(On-Call; Nights & Weekends)
Posting Date - 6/23/15

Applicants will be required to move, set up, and position tables, chairs and other equipment before and after events at the Depot.  Applicants will be responsible for inspection and cleaning of Depot facilities before and after events including sweeping, mopping, and other custodial work. Applicants will be required to set-up, adjust and operate basic audio/visual equipment such as speakers and DVD players and projectors.
Applicants will be able to assist in coordinating setups via either phone or email communication with customers.

Prospective applicants should:
Have a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, early morning)
Be willing to work independently and prioritize tasks
Be able to meet scheduled appointments and plan ahead

Work requires moderate physical effort with considerable walking; work requires regular lifting, carrying and pushing of up to one hundred (100) pounds.
